The Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education has released the proposed timetable for the 2025 Class X and XII public examinations in Panaji. According to the schedule, the Class XII exam is anticipated to take place from February 1 to 15, 2025, while the Class X exam is scheduled for March 1 to 20 of that year. The board has moved up the exam dates by approximately 28 days for 2025, citing concerns about rising temperatures due to global warming. This decision was made earlier this year in response to incidents of students feeling unwell during the 2024 exams due to the heat. To avoid a repeat of such incidents, all exams will be finished before March 31, with results expected to be announced by the end of April. The adjusted schedule aligns with national timelines and mirrors those of other central and state boards.
